The Aotearoa Circle launched the Tourism Adaptation Roadmap. This significant piece of work outlines a number of climate change scenarios for the tourism industry, providing critical structure to an uncertain future.  

The scenarios are a valuable tool for you to assess the potential impact of warming on your own business. They are designed to enable tourism operators to build resilience into their businesses and consider adaptation and mitigation.  

A good place to start is page 9 of the report, which outlines what we might expect to happen over the next few years.  

TIA Chief Executive Rebecca Ingram was a member of the leadership group for this work and will be working to unpack the information and support you with practical actions and advice.
