TIA Photo Competition - Entries Open!

Entries are now open for TIA’s popular annual photo competition. This is a great opportunity for you and your team to show off your creativity and generate some positive, high profile coverage of your operation.

There are fantastic prizes up for grabs as well as valuable PR for the member company.  

The theme

The competition theme is 'Delivering world leading visitor experiences'. This is a key element in the Tourism Sustainability Commitment, which aspires to see New Zealand lead the world in sustainable tourism. 

You have until Friday 9 March to send us photos that highlight the incredible experience you give your visitors. We will publish each week’s best entries on our Facebook page. The winners will be announced in T-Mail on Friday 16 March. 

Please email your entry or entries in JPEG format* or a Dropbox (or similar) to with the subject line: PHOTO COMPETITION, and include:

  • Photograph title
  • Photograph location
  • Photographer’s name
  • TIA member organisation name
  • Contact phone number

*High resolution images please (at least 1MB), and we really like horizontal images!

 Please note this competition is only open to TIA members and their employees.

  • Free publicity – the winning photo will be TIA’s hero image, used in our promotional material throughout 2018
