Inzone Careers Coach

The Inzone Careers Coach is using technology to promote careers in tourism and other sectors to thousands of New Zealand students.

Over 40,000 students participate in the Careers Coach across 200 New Zealand schools every tour, watching Inzone documentaries showcasing industries, educational institutions and entrepreneurial New Zealanders.

High-tech career kiosks inside the coach have interactive touch screens, allowing students to watch videos on a wide variety of careers. Flying the flag for tourism, Queenstown Resort College has had a kiosk in the Careers Coach for the past eight years.

"Being involved with Inzone Careers was a simple decision,” explains QRC Chief Executive Charlie Phillips.

“Not only is it a great way to profile career options for school leavers, but Peter is genuine about creating opportunities for youth. The Inzone coach has presence and sets the tone for the user experience.”

After viewing videos of their choice, the student can decide if they would like to receive further information on that career. An automated text message function is also available, which promptly responds to an information request with further information and website links.

The kiosk provides inspirational material for all ages with the opportunity to make informed and practical decisions on their career options.
