Governance

TIA is governed by a Board of Directors who represent our diverse tourism industry.

We are an independent, not-for-profit industry association. Our funding comes from membership fees, voluntary contributions, partnerships and sponsorships.

Job Opportunities 

TIA has a team of around 22 people who work across a range of areas, including advocacy, policy development, events, membership support, project leadership, stakeholder relationships and communications.

As the peak association representing New Zealand’s $36 billion tourism industry, TIA’s work is varied, challenging and stimulating. It’s a great place to work. The majority of staff are based in Wellington.

 

Situation Vacant - Advocacy Advisor

The Advocacy Advisor will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of a wide range of TIA-related advocacy initiatives that arise from industry forums and work streams. You will be also responsible for acting as the first point of contact for any Advocacy related queries and managing the response to these queries. 

We are looking for someone who has 3-4 years’ experience in a service related industry and has a broad understanding of the tourism industry and the sectors within it. Read the ad and job description.
